All our products are thermoformed, using top-of-the-range thermoforming equipment. Thermoforming is the process of heating and moulding plastic sheets using air pressure and vacuums.

Here’s how it works:

• A dental lab technician clamps a sheet of plastic into a thermoformer.
• It’s then heated until it hits the sweet spot – exactly the right temperature where it is malleable and perfect for processing.
• The plastic is then transferred to the patients unique dentine mould.
• The material is then stretched and cooled to the shape of the mould.
• The technician then trims the mould into the individualised finished shape.
